What We Did
Taskers engaged Network Motion to carry out a comprehensive IT due diligence assessment, covering technology, data, operations, and staff. The aim was to understand where systems were limiting performance and to identify opportunities for better alignment between business objectives and digital capabilities.
Following this, we developed a structured digital transformation roadmap and secured board level buy in to implement it. The organisation transitioned from relying on local IT staff to appointing Network Motion as its fully managed service provider i.e., MSP, responsible for strategy, support, and implementation.
Key initiatives included migrating all core operational data — including finance, email, and warehouse stock control — to Microsoft platforms, combining Microsoft 365 and Dynamics. The electronic point of sale EPOS system was overhauled, with a split created between high volume FMCG items and slower moving lines. These lower volume product ranges were transitioned to the instore ecommerce platform, enabling more flexible customer engagement.

What We Delivered
The transformation delivered clear improvements across finance, operations, and customer engagement. Financial management and reporting became significantly more efficient, providing better oversight and faster insights to the leadership team.
Warehouse management was streamlined, enabling more accurate stock control and faster ordering cycles. Floor staff became better connected and equipped, allowing them to support customers more effectively — particularly in the fast-paced FMCG environment where speed and accuracy are essential.
The separation of product ranges within the EPOS and ecommerce systems led to operational gains by allowing staff to handle high volume and low volume inventory differently. This improved both instore experience and stock handling. Cross-departmental reporting became simpler, with data more readily available for analysis and strategic planning.
In support of these outcomes, Network Motion also delivered a complete refresh of in-store digital infrastructure, including new wireless networking and upgraded local area connectivity for EPOS terminals and supporting devices.
What Happened
Network Motion remains the strategic IT partner for Taskers, continuing to deliver value through ongoing support, infrastructure management, and advisory services. As part of the wider leadership dialogue, Network Motion is actively involved in board level discussions, helping to shape future digital direction and ensure that technology continues to support both day-to-day operations and long-term growth.
